Investing in Diamonds is nothing new

A couple of key ideas to keep in mind when evaluating diamonds as a valid and lucrative investment:

“Asset allocation strategies for 2009 exhibit far greater degree of diversification and in particular a shift away from paper securities to hard assets and commodities that will always retain some intrinsic worth”

“Currently diamonds are seen as a luxury item primarily for jewellery and the percentage of investment is relatively small, but the fundamentals point to an increasing opportunity for this to rise significantly.”

“Diamonds are the most concentrated store of value that exists. They are tangible, portable and liquid investments. Investors can use diamonds without decreasing their value and they pay no property tax on their investment.”

With reference to gold being an investment, as well as diamonds:  “Both are extremely rare mined natural resources, with diamonds in fact being significantly rarer than gold.  Both are also US $ denominated assets (over 60% of gold holdings are still in US$) and diamonds are already used as a currency hedge in a similar manner to gold…”

We are seeing a significant rise in interest of our customers to invest in diamonds, colored and white diamonds alike.   We can advise and qualify good diamond investments for you and depending on your level of investment we can direct you to  traditional white diamonds or colored diamonds.

To address the other side of the investment:  Your question may be:  ”What do I do now that I have owned this diamond for 8-10 years and want to capitalize on this investment?”   We have been running ads with examples of diamonds that we have purchased back from customers for a variety of reasons:  We can verify the initial selling price to the customer so these are tangible numbers and real investments.  Our customers are selling their diamonds in order to fund a daughter’s wedding, pay for college, buy a beach house, take a family vacation.   Or there are multiple children with one parent’s diamond with a need for an even distribution of the inheritance, or simply a change of lifestyle.

Donald Haack Diamonds has been brokering diamonds for the public for years.  We can find the best buyer for your diamonds and quickly turn it into cash…whatever the need.  Or we can educate and advise as to the best diamonds to invest in.
