Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth proposed to Miley Cyrus on May 31 with a stunning 3.5-karat cushion-cut diamond ring. 

We love its history and its touch of vintage style. Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane told People the center stone was hand-cut in the late 19th century, making it one-of-a-kind (with each stone cut by hand, no two are alike). Lane describes the entire look as, “a contemporary design based on vintage aesthetics,” with diamond floral motifs carved intricately into the 18-karat gold setting forming an art nouveau pattern.

Miley and Liam have been together for three years since they met on the set of The Last Song in 2009. Miley shared her happiness with fans in a tweet on June 6, “Thank you for all the love today. I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true.”
