Donald Haack Diamonds & Fine Gems donated a custom-made pink mabe pearl necklace with Mikimoto-inspired flower links for the upcoming Second Annual “Party in Pink” event at the Palisades Country Club on Lake Wylie. The Sept. 19 fundraiser will feature dinner, dancing, and a silent and live auction to benefit under- and uninsured women in their fight against breast cancer. About Party in Pink

Seven women from the Lake Wylie, Fort Mill and Tega Cay area, many of whom have personally triumphed over breast cancer, decided to dedicate themselves to fundraising for the cause. (The leader of this group just completed her treatment in March of 2008.)  They all share the conviction that all women should have access to early detection and immediate treatment, without the financial burden that a breast cancer diagnosis often brings. All proceeds from this event will go to the York County Cancer Association/Breast Cancer Support Fund.
