Julie Haack, president of Donald Haack Diamonds & Fine Gems (www.donaldhaack.com) has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the Charlotte Steeplechase Association, Inc., which produces the Queen's Cup Steeplechase. Founded in 1996, the Queen's Cup Steeplechase is held annually on the last Saturday of April in Mineral Springs, N.C. 

The Queen's Cup Steeplechase, produced by the Charlotte Steeplechase Association, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has raised over $450,000 for its charities since 1996. The Association has significantly benefited some wonderful charities over the years including Hospice of Union County, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Catawba Lands Conservancy and since 2008, Make-A-Wish.
