Exchange/Return Policy

Items purchased from Donald Haack Diamonds may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Any refunds on cash and check purchases will be given in the form of a check. Refunds on check purchases will be given after 10 days. Merchandise must be in original and unworn condition and accompanied by the original gift box. Closeouts, special orders, altered pieces (including ring sizing) and custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

All returns are subject to a restocking fee at 5% of total purchase. Forfeiture of deposit and restocking fee also applies to custom jobs when parts have been made or ordered and the job is subsequently cancelled.

Special Orders

We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, or gift item ordered or altered at the client's request.

Layaway Policy

Items may be put on layaway for up to 90 days with a minimum deposit of 25%. There must be monthly activity and the item must be paid for in full by the end of the layaway period. Layaways cancelled after 30 days will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The original deposit and any subsequent payments will become store credit to be used toward the purchase of other merchandise.

Colored Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure - Purchasers of colored gemstones should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted trade practices. Some or all colored gemstones listed on the sales slip may have been subject to colored gemstone enhancement process.

Diamond Upgrade Policy

Any single diamond purchased from Donald Haack Diamonds may be traded in for credit for the original purchase price on any future single diamond purchase upon meeting the following conditions:
1. The diamond must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase and be accompanied by any reports and/or certificates.
2. The new purchase must be double the original selling price or greater.
Returned Checks - Returned checks will be assessed a $30.00 fee

We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur, and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous price listings. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
